The Laurel School of Music offers private violin lessons. Lessons are one-half hour each week and range
from beginner to advanced levels. Students are accepted beginning at age five
to adult. However, if a parent feels that a child under the age of 5 years old
may be ready for violin instruction, it is recommended that a consultation with
the Director be arranged before instruction begins.
SIZING VIOLINS - It is essential that the young student be "fitted" with the appropriate size violin. This is best accomplished by visiting the School and "trying on" the various size violins. The Laurel School of Music inventories violins from 1/4 to full size.
