With 8 piano instructors on staff we can match individual students with an instructor that specializes in their area of interest and skill level. We have instructors who are wonderful with the young beginner, while other instructors are adept with instructing the advanced or adult musician.
All our Instructors teach and are well-versed in the Kjos Bastien Series of Piano Instructional books and material. The School exclusively emplys this wonderful series of piano instructional material. This allows our instructors to:
1) Collaborate and reinforce among each other effective instuctional techniques based on the same consistent instructional material;
2) Easily fill in as a substitute for an instructor that may need a vacation day;
3) Allow a student a smooth and efficient transition to a different piano teacher in our facility, if a student's schedule requires a change in a lesson time and instructor; and
4) The School can have in stock a smaller amount of focused instructional materials available to students, so that students and parents do not have to scurry all over town to collect and purchase a scattered and varied individual materials.
We believe this united group approach utilizing a common course of educationl materials allows our instructors to be supported and consistent in the endeavor to elevate the effectiveness of their instruction.
