Because the Laurel School of Music serves students from at least 5 different counties, the Laurel School of Music DOES NOT FOLLOW the closing status of any individual School system.
The Laurel School of Music will post information concerning CLOSINGS or OPENINGS on this page of the website, as well as in other areas of the Website. A message will also be placed on the School phone system, 301 498 4479 by 10am of any day that CLOSING may be an issue. We also will send a general e-mail to all our students. However, at times the e-mail message may not be delivered if the e-mail address in our system is not up to date.
It is best to CALL THE SCHOOL and listen to the STATUS message on any day where
weather or a Holiday Closing may be an issue.
