The Laurel School of Music offers private cello lessons. Lessons are one-half hour each week and range from beginner to intermediate levels. Students are accepted beginning at age seven to adult. However, if a parent feels that a child under the age of 7 years old may be ready for cello instruction, it is recommended that a consultation with the Director be arranged before instruction begins.
Cello instruction at the Laurel School of Music prepares the student for participation in school orchestras as well as solo performance. Cello instruction is also given for the musicians who simply want recreational performance instruction. Cello instruction is tailored to the individual musician.
